My fellow Nigerians, on the 1st of january 2012 the Federal Government lead by Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Namadi sambo unilaterally removed the subsidy on petrol. On january 2nd 2012 we have all woken up to a different world.
The government claims that subsidy as it were constituted a strain on the economy of nigeria but excuse you, before the government bandies staggering figures as the cost of subsidy, ask yourself the following questions:
• How much did GEJ/ SAMBO spend out of our foreign reserves to fund their campaign?
•How much are we losing as a nation to official corruption in government?
• Why is 1 billion Naira allocated to feeding the presidency in 2012?
• Why was the government quick to remove subsidy without a cut in the pay of public office holders?
• Why do we have just 3 refineries in Nigeria and why are they not working at full capacity?
• Why can't the size of Government be pruned drastically as a means of conserving funds?
• Why is the government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan interested in placing a BURDEN caused by the ineptitUde of Government on the masses?
My dear friends do not be deceived, there are other avenues for generating funds, there is no cabal anywhere but the friends of government who have importation licences and have refused to supply the true quantity of fuel they claim to supply while their friends in government are too scared to stop and prosecute this gross corruption.

The removal of government subsidy affects us all. This is a crime of governance, we should not be sentenced to the dungeons of poverty and starvation for a crime we know nothing about.
Stand up, let your voice be heard. Let's stand together to fight this tyranny called SUBSIDY REMOVAL.
